This Privacy Policy explains how Weekan ("Weekan", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our project management intelligence service available at weekantech.com and related interfaces, including reports and assistance delivered over WhatsApp (collectively, the "Service").
Who we are
Weekan provides an AI assistant that connects to your project management tools, analyzes your project data, and delivers reports, alerts, and answers — in the app and, optionally, via WhatsApp. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@weekantech.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account.
- Project management data — when you connect a tool such as Jira, Linear, or Trello, we access issues, statuses, assignees, comments, timestamps, and related metadata needed to produce reports and insights. We access only the projects you select.
- WhatsApp information — if you opt in to WhatsApp delivery, we store your phone number and the messages you exchange with our assistant in order to deliver digests and respond to your questions.
- Usage and billing data — how you use the Service, and, for paid plans, payment details processed by our payment provider.
How we use your information
- To generate project reports, risk alerts, and AI-assisted answers.
- To deliver scheduled digests and at-risk notifications on the channels you choose.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and support.
WhatsApp and Meta
We use the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform to deliver messages. You must explicitly opt in by sending us a verification message before we send you any digest. Your messages are processed to generate a reply and are retained as part of your conversation history. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or by disabling WhatsApp delivery in your account settings. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
Third-party services
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service:
- Meta Platforms — to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
- AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) — to generate reports and answers from your project data.
- Infrastructure providers — for hosting and database storage.
- Payment processor — to handle subscriptions; we do not store full card details.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@weekantech.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest, including encryption of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Updated on" date above.
